Familytree 2

The farm which gave origin to the family name Klingsheim is actually named Klingshei.
This has given me quite some mindgrumbling, and is still filled with mystic.
Klingshei is farm no. 18 in Sola commune. However the two families carrying
the farm name, with some exceptions, use Klingsheim.
I will later try to summarize some of the circumstances around this.
The ancestors to the Klingsheim family, has its origin mainly in the Northern
and
Southern parts of Rogaland. However following my ancestors back to Forsand,
a commune east of Stavanger, brings up information giving ideas of royal blood
from the royal families of Norway, Denmark and England, and to the
landfather of Norway -
Harald Hårfagre.
Even if these are fairytales from ancient time,
or only bring fragments of the actual history,
they give me (and maybe you)
a connection to places, to history,
and to ancestors living in a totally
different world.
And bring us into a journey through land and history, giving us a little perspective
to our short time given.
