Hildore og Penelope var farmere i Ocheyedan og fekk to søner kring 1950. Hildore var og aktiv i kommunen, og var ei tid ordførar og var med i kommunstyre i 17 år til saman.
Sonen Ronald Keith flytte til Omaha i Nebraska., medan David budde i Sioux Falls i Sør Dakota. David flytte seinare til Florida.
Då Penelope døydde 67 år gamal, i 1987 hadde ho vore enke i 9 år. Ho etterlot etter seg fire barnebarn, men hadde og mista eit barnebarn.
I 1950 finn me Hildore og Penelope Ohme med to born, Ronnie K Ohme 6 år og David P? Ohme 2 år. Saman med dei brur og broren til Hildore, Ivan Ohme 35 år. Ronnie er nemnd fødd ca 1944 i Wisconsin sama som mora Penelope, medan David er nemnd fødd i Iowa (ca 1948).

Funeral services were held Friday, October 13, at the United Methodist Church in Ocheyedan for Hildore Ohme, age 69, who died October 10 at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, S. Dak. Rev. Roy K. Hoover officiated. Burial was in Ocheyedan Township Cemetery with Walton Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Hildore Maynard Ohme, the son of Henry and Margaret Bustad Ohme was born dec. 14, 1908 at Gaza, Ia., and moved with his family to Ocheyedan at the age of four. After entering the service of his country in 1942, he was united in marriage to Penelope Poulos on October 17 of that year. Following service, they returned to the Ocheyedan-Harris communities where he farmed for several years.
In 1951, Hil purchased the grocery store in Ocheyedan which he operated until his retirement in 1973. He was active in community affairs, having served as mayor and councilman. At the time of his death, he had served for 17 consecutive years as council member. He was a member of the American Legion Post 326 in Ocheyedan and a member of the United Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife; two sons: David Paul of sioux Falls, S.Dak. and Ronald Keith of Omaha, Nebr.; one sister, Alma (Mrs. Oscar Wilson) and a brother, Ivan, both of Ocheyedan; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Orva and Agnes.

Funeral services were held May 4 at the United Methodist church at Ocheyedan for Penelope Ohme. Rev. Gordon Vickery officiated with Andringa Funeral Home of Sibley in charge of arrangementes. Interment was at Ocheyedan township cemetery.
Mrs. Penelope Ohme, daughter of the late Gust and Ciela (Kies) Anastasopoulos, was born February 23, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisc., where she lived her youth and attended school.
She was united in marriage to Hildore M. Ohme of Ocheyedan on October 17, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisc. They lived in Ocheyedan where they owned and operated the Ohme's Grocery and Meat store until they retired. Hildore died i October of 1978.
Mrs. Ohme was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ocheyedan where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She died May 1 at the Covington Heights Health Care Center of Sioux Falls at the age of 67.
She is survived by two sons: Ronald K. of Omaha, Nebr., and David P. of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; four brothers; Alex and Jim Poulos and Dan and Nick Patrinos all of Wisconsin and one sister, Diane Poulos of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, one sister and one grandchild.
