Concha, Alex 52, of Aurora, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Presence Mercy Hospital. He was born May 1, 1962 in California, the son of Santos Concha and Maria (DeJesus). Alex was employed by Dairy Queen as manager for 12+ years.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Blakeman); 3 daughters, Lindsey, Taylor and Natalie; 1 son, Alexander Jr.; and Papa's special boy Leyton; 4 sisters, Carmen, Elizabeth (Francisco), Terry and Joann; 2 brothers, Fred and Eric (Adrienne); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Mabel Blakeman; 4 sisters-in-law, Julie Dodge, Amy Baxter, Mary Ellen Blakeman and Amy Jo Burrows and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Len Concha and his parents.
Alex was a hard working, dedicated father. He was a selfless man full of faith and life. He put his family's needs before his own, and he always brought light and positivity into every situation. His love will live on through his family and friends.
Family will be receiving guests Friday, January 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Alex will be lying-in-state Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 420 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Savior Lutheran Church appreciated.
