Owatonna: Eleanore "Ellie" E. DeSerre, 1345 Edinburgh, Owatonna, died Wednesday, Nov 10 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. She was 65. Eleanore Klingsheim was born Aug. 28, 1934, on her parent's farm in Lime Springs, Iowa, daughter of Arthur and Amelia (Olson) Klingsheim. She graduated from Harmony High School in 1952. She was married for a number of years to Roger Watson before they were divorced. Eleanore DeSerre worked for a number of years at the St. Paul Insurance Companies offices in Rochester prior to moving to the Twin Cities. There she worked for many years in various positions at 3M in Maplewood before her retirement. Following retirement, she moved to Owatonna, and has lived here for several years. Eleanore DeSerres survived by a son, Doug (and Barb) Watson of Owatonna; a sister, Shirley (and Ray) Benthal, Edina; two granddaughters, a niece and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Michaelson Funeral Hoomes, 1930 Austin Road, Owatonna. The Rev. Robert Stoskopf will officiate. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Owatonna.
